Review on 🚰 APEC CB1 CAB20 BB Water Filter System: Exceptional Filtration for Pure, Clean Water by Tim Airy

My only beef with the description "No pressure release button required". Removing the filter housing to replace the filter was quite a challenge. Having had no luck with the wrench provided I switched to a rubber band filter wrench, which is usually sufficient for projects like this, but no luck! It wasn't until I partially unscrewed the outlet that the pressure was released, at which point I was able to remove the filter very easily. I was hoping the replacement job wouldn't require re-wrapping the outlet fitting with silicone tape etc. As I said, I'm generally happy, but I may need to replace the top check valve with one that has a drain plug as I don't have one. I don't see any other way to release the pressure while keeping the case in place.
