After initial setup, my printer aligned them successfully; several copies (about 10) were successfully made. Then each cartridge gave an error message. REINSERT THE CARTRIDGE (something like that); After reinstalling each cartridge + restarting the printer multiple times, the same message was repeated multiple times; I finally bought genuine HP cartridges that work well in my printer.
