I've needed a radio and CD player for a long time and have had no luck with the cheaper ones I've gotten in the past, they may have lasted a month or two or just didn't is working. well, in general. So far it works great. You can program specific radio stations so you don't have to search for them, or you can use the scan buttons as well. It has a high antenna, which seems to make a big difference. Easily adjust the volume to low or high with the rotary knob. The CD player works well too, and the buttons for it are duplicated on the radio buttons to save space. There is a mode button to toggle between them. I keep mine plugged in with the USB cable they supply to an outlet that can power these types of plugs and everything works great.
