Nothing can do everything. This gives you good accuracy etc but can be tricky to use. If you are working without a T-bar/beam and have decided on a point on the line to draw the corner from, it can be quite difficult to FIND that point by looking for it on the surface of the protractor. The window is so small you can't tell what you see. Of course, if you don't care where the line or dot is, you can just do it. Simply place the device on the paper and mark the center, mark the horizontal and mark the corner. For me that is rather rare. OR maybe I've already drawn some lines and want to draw angles from them. Again, how do I find the line? It's like using a high-magnification telescope - you have a tiny field of view and the entire sky to choose exactly what you want to see - so get a low-magnification telescope to put you in the right field . I don't see any way to do that here. Maybe a plastic insert instead of opaque stainless steel in the center/horizontal lines? Or even more openings? I tried to pierce it with a needle but it must be a small needle. Secondly, if you loosen the guide/alignment (red thing), it's very easy to lose or misplace the bolts, washers and nuts. It would be slightly better if the screws and washers were one piece. I tried inserting a strong magnet into the slot and the protractor seemed to stick to it. Maybe everything would be easier if it was fixed with a magnet by default. Who has suggestions?
