I have been using AMI membranes for almost 10 years and I am always satisfied with them. My tap water has a TDS of 557 and after the membrane it drops to 13. That's a 97.66% failure rate! Yes, they cost a little more than others at Revain, but they're worth it. I use this for my 150 gallon reef tank and the DI resin lasts 4-6 months. I once tried a cheaper membrane to save some money, but it only ended up with a 90% failure rate (marketed as >96% failure), resulting in me burning my DI resin in a month.
