If it weren't for the sleep mode, the speakers would be outstanding. It is not simply a matter of turning off the speakers when they are not in use; rather, it is a matter of shutting off the speakers even when anything is playing, but with an insufficient volume according to the speakers! You're relaxing in the evening, listening to a podcast, when suddenly, everything stops working because the speakers have decided that it's impossible to hear them at such a low volume. On the other hand, the volume is not turned all the way down; rather, it is set at 20% on the windows volume control. Furthermore, if you do not immediately revive them by turning the volume up to 100% for a few seconds, then they can turn off completely, and in order to turn them back on, you will need to unscrew the volume control on them and turn it all the way down to the lowest possible setting before turning it back up. Because they come out of sleep mode for a little period of time, you will need to rewind everything you were listening to during this time. It would appear that the speakers' intended purpose is to raise the listeners to a fever pitch. It has been brought to my attention that the addition of power-saving modes is a prerequisite for membership in the European Union; yet, the lack of a discrete option to disable these modes is a complete farce. I will be eternally grateful to whoever discovers a way to unsolder this mode from the speakers. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.
