Review on πŸ’§ Light Texture Lotion in American Ounces by Sirryan Bloodworth

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Want to smell like the kids in the mail?

This rating is based on my first few hours of use. I bought it because of the positive reviews here and also the opinions that the scent was mild and normal. Well, he arrived yesterday. Here's the big problem with American Crew's lightly textured lotion: It smells cheap to me. Like that horrible body spray kids use when they first show up at work. hicks. You know, the hold of the product is pretty good, a little seems to go a long way and I have no problems with flyaways during the day. Not sure how it will be with the recovery from the summer head sweat and look forward to seeing you. So far it's pretty impressive though. But the smell is awfully sticky, sweetish, artificial. Not as bad as it could be, but I don't want it to be associated with me (I usually wear some kind of Jo Malone cologne). My wife says it's not that bad but it's driving me crazy. I've been using American Crew Light Hold Texture Lotion for several hours and I can still smell it. And it smells like you think it smells like something called American Crew. Cheap. A fragrance-free version would be a complete win. Although I don't really like the smell. Another review on the hold - it's lightweight, non-greasy, easily reshapes and holds again after wind/hats/sweat dissipates the initial styling. American Crew Light Hold Lotion really is a premium styling product for fine hair. Yes, but this taste! Lose the taste and that's probably five stars. With this . . . three more.
