Review on POWERTEC Black O.D. Splice - 4 Inch by William Lin

This product has received some bad reviews, probably due to a lack of understanding of the difference between a 4" pipe and a joint. 4"PVC pipe, schedule 40, it's not a water pipe, it's a hose connection. This is a CONNECTOR for connecting 2 pieces of 4" (flexible) dust collection hose together. I use this connection to create dust collection ports that a 4" flexible hose will fit, or I use a 4" quick disconnect ( Wedge).In my photo, I have split the JOINT and attached it with epoxy to serve as the connection point for the 4" flexible hose. If you need to join (splice) a 4" flexible dust collection hose, this is a great product Bought several of these, some for splicing, some for making other connections - works as it's supposed to, great!
