Bought to pack large plants in a backlit home. Requires 3 AA batteries. We put in fresh Revain AA batteries and used a timer to turn the lights off unnecessarily and with the timer on they lasted four nights. On the fourth night they went out and shut down so the timer hadn't gone through four full cycles. They're not overly expensive, but with the amount of batteries you need to keep them going, they're way overpriced.
