This indexable insert holder is useless. The expandable thread does not hold up and slips during cutting. I am highly disappointed with this industrial and scientific product.
The floating nut slides over the surface of the rivet nut when you apply torque to both wrenches (the rivet nut only rotates in its hole). If it had a knurled or knurled surface to match the surface of the rivet nut, it might have enough friction and a chance of being a useful tool.
Used when a real riveting tool does not fit in the slot. - A drop of oil on the clamp screw helps a lot. This is not intended to replace an original rivet nut tool. A real rivet nut tool pulls straight compared to that little screw that has to turn and slide the threads against each other to pull the rivet. Threads on the fairing = more friction and also wear. You can't expect it to do the same job as a professional riveting tool, but whenever I needed it it worked fine.
