I bought this stand for my new Samsung S6 tablet because my old stand didn't fit this tablet because it's thinner than other Samsung tablets. This stand is SO HEAVY compared to any other tablet stand I've had, but it also makes it a lot sturdier. The only issue I've had so far is that it's not smooth at all when switching from landscape to portrait mode, but I also note that the stand is still fairly new. I'll have to experiment with where the kickstand grips my tablet to see if that's part of it. which prevents it from rotating smoothly.
