Lots of carbon dust for replacement water filter

I pushed water through the filter for about 5 minutes before I got in line. When I turned on the water, carbon dust covered the secondary filter and couldn't be removed. I took out the charcoal filter and ran water through the charcoal filter for another 5 minutes before placing it in line with the new secondary filter. Water turned on, same result. I will not buy it again nor will I recommend it.
