We used them for the first time on our boat trip to Canada. They are fantastic in action and worthwhile due to the greatly improved communication between helmsman and crew. The warning is that you need to charge the batteries every time you use them, even if you've only used them for a short time. They recharge in minutes. Another issue is that the crew almost lost their headsets several times while bending over the cables. Be sure to leave the 'master' headset with the person safely on board as it is more expensive to replace than the 'remote' headset. It would be ideal if some sort of seat belt came with the remote headset.
