Review on 🔧 Efficient Park Tool CCP-22 Crank Puller: Extract Cranks with Ease by Matthew Flores

Worked great Best in Shop Tools

Worked great. The 17 year old mountain bike had a crank that was never removed. I tried a crowbar, a 4 pound hammer and a large screwdriver, hit it with a liquid wrench and let it sit for 24 hours. The next day I still couldn't get it off, so I had to order a puller. After reading many reviews I chose this one and I'm glad I did. I made sure the first nut was hand tight so as not to strip the threads, then fully tightened it with an adjustable wrench since the instructions specifically said that if you didn't tighten you would almost certainly be stripping the threads . on the crank. I inserted the puller lever into the nut and started turning. It gets very tight and it was difficult to get enough power when the bike was on the ground, but after a few corners I felt it get lighter and a few more and the crank had already come loose. Works as they say and it's been great. .
