The 3/4" size was the right height for the shelf I was working on. The screws fit perfectly into the new children's shelf and the black color also matched the bracket. (Of course the studs are different and longer). Larger bushings are useful for securing mounting holes. Basically, I've found two good alternatives; Some dig into the wood (cone-shaped flat heads), while others hold staples (larger heads). Anything else usually requires shims for support. In general, it would be convenient to keep them with you. However, the storage box they came in could have been better.
