Good fasteners for screws

The 3/4" size was the right height for the shelf I was working on. The screws fit perfectly into the new children's shelf and the black color also matched the bracket. (Of course the studs are different and longer). Larger bushings are useful for securing mounting holes. Basically, I've found two good alternatives; Some dig into the wood (cone-shaped flat heads), while others hold staples (larger heads). Anything else usually requires shims for support. Great Solid Fasteners

These pan head screws are sharp, strong and durable. The truss head allows them to hold thinner items in place while the screw secures them to deeper ground. They are easy to embed into the wood and appear to be very durable. I have used them to secure the rugs to my trailer bunks as the clips loosen after a few seasons.

Pros
  • Great Product
Cons
  • Something Different

Good quality good price storage box

As far as I can tell these SNUG screws are of excellent quality. I needed to attach a garden hose bracket to a wooden fence, but the bracket didn't come with any hardware. These screws were perfect and went in easily and smoothly with my drill. However, since the screws are so sharp, I could probably just use a ratchet screwdriver with no problems.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • So far so good

Good fasteners

3/4 inch was the right height for the shelf I was working on. The wood screws are a "tight" match for the new kid's shelf, and the black color matched the bracket (Of course, the knobs are different and longer). Large heads are useful for securing mounting holes. Basically, I've found two good alternatives: one screwed into that Wood (tapered like flat heads) and others hold clamps (big heads). Anything else usually requires washers for support. Generally it would be handy to have them on you…
