Two things I liked about this connector were that the connector had LED indicators to indicate a good connection and easy installation. I had to replace the end of the wire harness on my boat trailer because the original end was damaged during a fishing trip I took my boat on. This plug came up during my search and the reviews were mostly very positive and as I can see from the pictures it looked REALLY easy to install. It was very easy to install and my trailer's headlights worked again, but only during the testing period. Fast forward 4 weeks and went to attach a boat trailer to my car to go fishing and guess what? NO TRAILER LIGHTING! Therefore, in the process of Unlimited, I was able to find an error in this connector that I installed. Something went wrong inside and caused a short circuit which blew the fuse on my car that controls the lights. Replaced the fuse and the same problem came back. This time the fuse has not blown and the indicator LEDs on the connector have not lit up as intended. Only the bottom light was properly on and the rest of the LEDs were very dim, which suggested to me that there was a short somewhere inside. I replaced this plug with another universal plug and what do you know? MY TRAILER LIGHT WORKS GOOD NOW! Quality seemed good but internal circuitry is poor. Easy to install and if you have good wiring I would recommend it. unfortunately there is none.
