I ordered this stand and picked it up at a local store the next day under the Zoo-Med brand. In short, this stand is slightly better for less money. The Zoo-Med stand cost me $47.99, about $10 more. The base of the Zoo-Med is larger than the base of this stand but weighs less. One positive aspect of the Zoo-Med stand is that it comes with fewer parts - it's a one tier design compared to this two tier stand. However, this also means bigger packaging for a big brand. I also noticed that the hook was welded to the end of the Zoo-Med base with a tiny flat piece instead of hooking all the way around like this base. And to top it off, this stand came with velcro cable ties and a hanging clip for your light, which didn't come with the Zoo-Med stand.
