4 stars because I rarely give a product five stars. I love everything about this food thermometer. Large display, so easy to read. I like the pocket knife pen without the on/off switch. Lights up when the probe is opened, goes out when the probe is folded. The plug probe also turns on the thermometer when you plug it in. I cooked a whole chicken on the grill and used the plug probe to check the temperature of the grill. Good, because the grill thermometer was far away. I used the foldable probe after unplugging the wired probe to check the bird's internal temperature. It turned out perfect.
