So I added two 8GB sticks to my late 2015 iMac Retina, for a total of 24GB. Easy installation and the system works without any problems. Added some speed boost for multitasking. The two best things you can do with an iMac are either install an SSD or get the Fusion Drive set up properly so that the flash and HDD partitions work like a real drive. Second, add that reminder. A Mac uses memory differently than a Windows PC, and having extra headroom at all times can help prevent system slowdowns. Here's my two cents.
