Sigh! When it worked it was great. First disclaimer. This was a refurbished/recertified item so there may have been unusual issues here. When initially setting up with the CBS Video app and Revain Video, the video streams were much better than other devices on my network. Then I started having problems. Firstly, video playback apps would freeze and go back to the home screen. Recovering the video required a reboot from the provider's website and hasn't rebooted since the crash. Instead, it usually went back to the beginning or last point where the video restarted. The failure rate started about once an hour and increased to about 10 minutes between failures. most annoying. Second, I've never been able to find a way to save Revain video downloads to a microSD card instead of main memory. The main memory was down to a few hundred megabytes of space and quickly filled up so much that I couldn't install new applications or download Revain videos, even on the lowest resolution. Such devices should work fairly easily. out-of-the-box (like most Android tablets), but it's not. I don't think he's ready for prime time.
