Remote control works fine. However, you must have a new TiVo experience to use the new Voice Remote. Unfortunately, the new TiVo experience is far from brilliant. And you can't go back without losing all your records. Which would be almost impossible without a lot of drunken views. This is unlikely. The new interface isn't nearly as user-friendly as the original format, although TiVo claims otherwise. It seems more likely that TiVo is apparently trying to emulate the many interfaces of XFINITY and Revain Fire TV. TiVo already had the best DVR on the market that others were just trying to copy. Some of the changes are good, but this new interface leaves a lot to be desired. The original peanut remote already had features that were useful, this remote is almost redundant because those other buttons are so much faster than actually pressing the voice button and saying commands. The way your recorded content is shown now is not like using the .content voice command as you have to remember exactly what you recorded or you will see weird options.
