Worked for us!: Garbage Bags

My wife and I were on a 4 week trip across the country and bought these to use in a 5 gallon bucket when there were no other options existed (i.e. no public toilets). near or in private places where a hole can be dug). Important to note: WE HAVE NOT TESTED THEM FOR LIQUID RETENTION. We just can't be sure that EVERY plastic bag contains liquid urine combined with hard stool, especially when we put it back in the car to take it to the nearest dumpster (which may be hundreds of miles away from where we are). . himself when studying the national forests). Aside from that, it kept the smell of feces out very well and appeared to be fairly airtight. I would be sure it will hold liquid for a period of time, but not indefinitely. In general - a good product. We've actually used them for the reasonably sized bin liners on most of our trips and they've performed exceptionally well there.
