My kids would live barefoot or in flip flops during the warmer months, but sometimes that's just not possible. Whenever we go somewhere that involves a lot of walking or where our feet get wet, we need something more practical. They are durable and safe. They are incredibly light which my son loves. The top front strap and ankle strap are adjustable so you actually get a snug fit. My son is usually tall and skinny so this is important to me. The soles have a good deep profile, making them suitable for hiking or walking on the water. All in all, these are great sandals.
