For those who have read other reviews, these are not glass lenses (580G). That's right. This is my second pair of Costa lenses (it used to be glass Fantails) and if you shop around, $158 for a pair of Costa glass lenses doesn't exist unless you're buying used lenses at auction. The glass lenses are too heavy for me and slip off my nose quite a bit. I still loved and wore glasses. If you know the price of G lenses, you will not have any surprises when ordering. These are 580P lenses, they are genuine Costa sunglasses and they are very reasonably priced. Having had a glass lens and now a plastic lens, I see no difference. General. The glass gives the glasses some weight so if you want a heavier pair of glasses go for it, you won't be disappointed. But if, like me, you're concerned about weight, you'll be happy with Uber's plastic lenses. They had a 580G sticker on them. This is my only complaint. It's misleading if you open them if you don't know what you just bought. I knew they would be plastic so it didn't really matter to me. I hope this helps a little to clear things up. The glass lenses are $259, so there's no discount on new lenses. At $158 for a new plastic 580 that sold for me. Good business.
