Saw this on a YouTube video and had to have my own. I usually separate eggs the old fashioned way but this gadget is very cute and functional so it would make a lovely addition to any kitchen! Technically a completely unnecessary purchase, but for the elderly it makes separating egg whites a fun experience. much easier. My mom has arthritis in both hands and her dexterity isn't what it used to be, so this device makes the process more convenient as she can only use one hand to part. I just crack the egg open and then stir the egg white out through the spout. Looks like the little bird threw up, haha, you still have the yolk in there anyway. The quality is nice and solid in hand and it was well packed in bubble wrap and envelope. Be careful with this as it will likely break if it falls from a great height. If you like cute and functional helpers in your kitchen, then you should definitely get this little one!
