FOYO Egg Separator: Efficient Egg Yolk White Separator for Baking & Kitchen Gadgets Review

Wish I had it sooner. These are better than bowl dividers since most only work with certain types of bowls or cups, or worse, they must be hand-held. You can use this to slightly dilute the protein if the egg isn't too cold, if it is you'll need to shake it a bit. No second bowl for egg yolks, just pop them in the microwave for a quick treat for your dog.

When I saw this I had to buy it. I thought it was the cutest thing in the world but then I tried it and the video speaks for itself. It reminded me of that toy that you squeeze and the mucus comes out of your nose or butt and then sucks it back in. It is better to use cheap synthetics. On the plus side I could use it but not for what it was intended for. It's still cute. :)

Nice but the white pouring hole is too small. If you have bad (store-bought) eggs with a watery egg white, this might work, but farm-fresh egg whites are too viscous to easily pour out of a small hole. The dots are only there to pierce the yolk if you're trying to get it in or out intact. In general, this is a worse option than just using your hands.

This gets 5 stars for cuteness! But for practical use, have your current egg separator handy. once. With only 1 egg in the cup, there's a lot of protein poured over it. (I think that's one way to use it.) You'll have to fish out the thick part of the egg white, at the risk of breaking the yolk. There was still some white on my yolk. Good if you have a lot of time and patience. And it's really CUTE.

Saw this on a YouTube video and had to have my own. I usually separate eggs the old fashioned way but this gadget is very cute and functional so it would make a lovely addition to any kitchen!
