I put off buying this machine because some reviews said the coffee wasn't hot enough. It turns out that most of these reviews were about the original models. The new Vertuoline machines appear to brew a slightly hotter cup than the original. Sure it's not hot enough to burn you, but who drinks that hot coffee? When I received the car, I was initially very impressed with the packaging. Upon unboxing I was pleased to see that the box contained 12 capsules, 9 coffees and 3 espressos. All the different flavors and intensities, he also explained what each flavor is made of and used a number system from 1 to 11 to tell you how strong the blend is, with 1 being the weakest and 11 being the strongest. The kit also included amazing milk froth. The initial setup is very simple and will tell you how to clean when you first use it and how to make your first cup of coffee. I prefer more lattes when drinking coffee, so I had the opportunity to try the milk froth that came with the machine. After inserting the coffee capsule and starting the brewing process, I was initially pleased to see that the coffee and foam actually separated, as shown in the videos on the website. It only took about 45 seconds to brew the coffee, and it took the milk frother almost as long to heat up and froth the milk. So when drinking latte coffee, run them at the same time for the hottest coffee. For lattes, I recommend using at least a 16-ounce cup or mug to hold both coffee and milk. I have tried different flavors and intensities both with and without milk. Once I smelled the scent, saw it and then tried different blends, I was hooked! The quality of this coffee is just as good as home-brewed coffee. I have since given up on my previous machine and will never be satisfied with anything less than my new Nespresso machine and coffee. If you really love espresso, then why not make your own at home? Save time and money! Once you try this machine I am sure you will love it as much as I do!
