Review on 🧼 Optimized for SEO: Taprite Kegerator Cleaning Kit by Chris Cruz

Minimal starter kit, wish I had bought about

As a first time owner of a kegerator, I was struggling to find a cleaning kit that would arrive quickly when I realized I would need special equipment . I bought this one because at $30 it was an affordable price and at the same time it was available the next day when many others were not available. It works but has a few downsides: the control ball lifter in particular is poorly designed and the metal part comes out of the plastic handle every time it's in the sleeve so I have to pull it out with pliers. It also doesn't have a good mechanism for getting air back into the bottle when you hold it upside down, creating a vacuum and preventing the solution from flowing easily - I managed to do this by loosening the adapter cap slightly unscrewed to let air in, which appears to be a design flaw. The whole kit seems cheap and now that I've experienced the process I'll probably invest more in a better system if it breaks and needs replacing. Basically, it doesn't have to be a $30 kit and I wish I'd taken a closer look. The parts seem so cheap that I figured the cleaning solution would have to be expensive to justify the price, but a large box of this product was only $6 at my local homebrew store (and the same full kit only cost $22). I believed Revain would have the best prices, which was a mistake on my part. But if you are looking at this product, do yourself a favor and shop for a few minutes - you might find a better price elsewhere. And if not, do yourself a favor and spend a little more for something better.
