Crosley cleaning brush

I've been collecting vinyl for about five years. Sometimes I buy freshly pressed records, sometimes I buy old used records. As a rule, both new and used need to be cleaned after purchase. I inherited a very good record player from my father and he used to use a cleaning kit to clean his records. The cleaning kit (I think it was a Memorex kit) contained a small velvet cleaner, a small bristle brush and a small bottle of cleaning solution. Until recently I used this kit to clean my records and then it all ended when the velvet cleaning stick started to crumble. I tried cleaning the new record and there were small bits of black velvet left on it. It's a bright yellow sign so I could see it quite clearly and it took me a while to get it clean. I knew it was time to replace my old cleaning kit so after reading the reviews I ordered this one to replace it. I'm very glad I did - this brush is much nicer and cleans much better than the one I inherited from my dad's record player. This is a large brush with a large surface area. The handle is in wood with a retractable compartment for the bottle of distilled water that comes with the kit and the brush is in black velvet. You need to use the brush once at about a 45 degree angle to coat the record with the solution and again at the same angle on the opposite end to dry it. The real test came about a month ago when I accidentally dropped my copy of Eddie Hazel's Game, Dames, and Guitar Thangs. (Shame on me, but I was baked at the time and prone to getting oily fingers!) Thankfully, it wasn't damaged, but it definitely picked up a messy layer of lint and dust. Hop into Crosley's cleaning brush - a few gentle swipes of this Baby and Hazels wax, lustrous like a black piano, sounds as clean and full as it should, and his guitar streaks are richer than ever. I would recommend this cleaning brush to any serious music lover.
