This NEMA 15-40 male to 6-50 female adapter is a necessary part for connecting VE/Audi hybrids. The OEM-supplied cord (6-50) requires a very sparse outlet (excluding welders). This adapter fits into one of the public NEMA charging sockets. My experience includes 2016-2019 VW Jetta and Audi A3 hybrids. I don't know anything about pure electrics. This $10 cable is a lot cheaper than the equivalent $350 OEM adapter. Wacky: These cables are listed at Revain by amperage, not connector type.
