I have added an extra panel to my garage and am using it to hook up a welder. It seems very well made and easy to use. Other similar products are 2-3 times more expensive in local stores.

Perfect fit, I couldn't find an adapter cable anywhere, had to get it here. Very durable product, I see no need to buy another one anytime soon as this seems like a quality product that will last for years. :)

These adapters are not included. I received my order expecting the 6-50 connector to face the 14-50 connector as shown. It's not relevant. Ordered a replacement and it didn't get any better.

Too bad there are handles on both sides! Too scary to touch the 240v pins lol. But works fine from my 4 pin to 3 pin output for my Lincoln welder! Saved me a headache when changing outlets.

I especially like the three holes on the fork to easily remove the plug from the wall. The wire gauge definitely looks like a 6 gauge and is able to handle my welder. It didn't heat up, just warmed up under load from my welder's higher settings.

The fact that 6 AWG wire is used is very important. Many others use thinner wire and that's not good. Considering the price, it would be impossible to build your own adapter for less. For the record, my plugs arrived perfectly straight (have some customers complained about twisted wires or something?)

This NEMA 15-40 male to 6-50 female adapter is a necessary part for connecting VE/Audi hybrids. The OEM-supplied cord (6-50) requires a very sparse outlet (excluding welders). This adapter fits into one of the public NEMA charging sockets. My experience includes 2016-2019 VW Jetta and Audi A3 hybrids. I don't know anything about pure electrics. This $10 cable is a lot cheaper than the equivalent $350 OEM adapter. Wacky: These cables are listed at Revain by amperage, not connector type.

Works great to connect my 220V European style welder to a 50A US outlet. used outside of the US). My generator has a 14-50p 220v outlet. Both plugs are rated for 50A at 220V. 220v outside the US usually runs at 50hz, but my welder seems to run fine at 60hz in the US. There are such adapters, but this is not the one you need when trying to make this connection.
