Not the best polish

There is a very narrow area of application for which this polish is suitable. It can help you remove light stains like hard water build-up and soap scum, but it won't work for more and honestly you could use a soft scrub bottle for that, so why bother at all? I've tried it on tile, glass and a medium hard decorative stone like agate with only marginal results. It flaked off my fingertips and that was it because this stuff didn't even begin to touch the small surface scratches and dings caused by the small surface imperfections. I've found that you really need successive grits of fine grit sandpaper to do this, ranging from around 400 to 3000 depending on how patient you are to achieve a high gloss finish. I was hoping that this buffing cream would save me a few steps towards the end of the buffing process, but it really doesn't. It just can't erase the surface to the depth of a scratch, so will never polish anything unless you're removing something just one molecule thick, like a surface haze on metal, or maybe a very soft paint. Also, the tube isn't sealed with plastic or any kind of foil, so when you first opened it, there were already small black mysterious dots around the white cream varnish. Random black spots of unknown origin can easily ADD scratches to a polished item, so that's a big no-go from my perspective. If you're just trying to remove tarnish, there are many non-abrasive methods available depending on the metal, so I wouldn't even use this polish for this purpose unless I really cared about the finish. For the record, I ALSO tried this polish with a rotary tool and some felt heads, but it didn't do much. For my purposes it was a worthless product and I would not buy it again in the future.
