I bought this drive to use as a simple portable backup solution for my laptop and am quite impressed so far. It's a fast drive and very easy to use. No complicated cables to connect and no special software to use. Just plug it into your computer and it works like a USB flash drive, copy, drag and drop and you're done! The read/write speeds of this drive are impressive, so copying files doesn't take long. My first backup to this drive was 256GB of data and it took no more than 5 minutes. A very good portable drive and the case is very nice. Holds the disc securely and is well padded for protection during transport. Recommend this as a portable backup solution for your data.
