I quilt and need a cutting mat that rotates to cut all the little squares. The rug arrived odorless and very nicely packaged. The spinning blade seems to float above with such ease. Love the versatility of being able to cut and rotate! The mat is very easy to turn, does not stick and does not slip! I actually put it on top of my other cutting mat and take it off when I need more room to cut fabric for borders etc. I bought a larger mat thinking I would need more room for the larger squares and I'm glad I did. If you are wondering which size to buy, I recommend going up the larger size for more versatility.
