I have an orange tabby cat who is very flexible and breaks off normal tear off collars like nothing. Whatever collar I bought him, I always saw him on the floor. I bought him 3 collars. None of them would have stayed. Then, when I was reading reviews of another collar, I saw someone mention these Beastie collars that I got from Cat Connection. The great thing is that you can trim them to fit your cat's neck. It's been two days and so far so good. My tabby can't get it off no matter how hard he tries! Mission accomplished.
