The mode switch is inconvenient. When you need to switch from DAC mode (rightmost position) to TX mode (middle position), it is difficult to do this without first flipping to the leftmost position (RX mode) by inertia, and only then, for some reason, it is easier to catch middle position. There is NO separate headphone output. Only with RCA through an adapter to remove the signal. There is no balanced output. You cannot enter the settings from the application if the device is in bluetooth distribution mode. Only when in bluetooth reception mode or in DAC mode. In bypass mode, when distributing bluetooth, there is no output via RCA, only via optics and coax. Thus, without switching the buttons on the device itself, you can simultaneously listen to music both on the headphones (turning off the speakers themselves) and on the speakers, turning off the headphones themselves, WITHOUT TOUCHING the FIO BTA 30 PRO itself.
