If you're looking for a decent set of cheap brushes that don't turn out like an anemic cat's fur these are reasonable prices. They can be reused, but for the most part I think they were only designed for water cleaning (water based latex and latex varnishes). I used them on an oil based primer and lacquer gloss and they did what I wanted. I expected them to fall apart, but they didn't. However, they did not survive the entire project in usable condition, so they can be thrown away unless cleaning with water would be more successful. They are economical enough to use as disposables like I did. but I can't complain. Just don't expect them to be your "eternal brushes."
