I liked that I could choose the color temperature. We installed two of these in the basement that has been repainted to make it brighter. The 4k color temperature was ideal for keeping the color "true" in its grey-green tones. The room was much brighter than before, mostly due to this light. We installed two of these lamps, one in the hallway and the other in the bedroom. We used the dimmer in the bedroom and the light behaves as expected. No flicker, good dimming range. A very modern look compared to the "pacifier light" that we replaced. These are ordinary plastic covers, but you can't see them without touching them.
