I bought these cameras to simulate home security. I drilled them into the wood panels with a low power drill. Love the flashing LED, black body and the fact that they are solar powered. I put batteries in just in case and they seem to be using battery power instead of solar power. It was difficult to put the batteries in the camera as the solar panel cable was short and came loose when I removed the hood. Very happy they came in a pack of two for the front yard and backyard.
