After trying it in New Orleans many years ago and trying it again with a friend after he got back from New Orleans, I decided to buy some. I drink 2-3 cups of coffee a day so after a day or two I noticed I was feeling bloated and bloated which I never had before. I didn't know it was coffee so I kept drinking. Eventually, after the elimination process, I realized it had to be coffee - indeed, the chicory in the coffee. I did a lot of research and found that chicory contains a fiber (inulin) that is very difficult for many people to digest. So I stopped eating this wonderfully delicious coffee for a whole week and my bloating went away. Today I mixed a little bit into my regular coffee and three hours later the symptoms returned. So enjoy this coffee if your system can handle inulin. Mine can't and my research tells me Beano doesn't work with chicory!
