No complaints, I recommend the product for purchase.

I put the disk in a low-budget MySQL server. If with the old Samsung HD503HI the system often choked due to a lack of disk performance, now the disk indicator is almost not lit. The peak speed of INSERTs doubled with the same settings and increased a little more after increasing innodb_write_io_threads.
The disk in the absence of accesses lives its own life, but the access indicator does not light up. I wouldn't be surprised if it sorts the sectors by frequency.

Pros

Big write IOPS for a small price. Seagate has done a good job of making efficient use of the large buffer. For databases - a good solution. Not very loud head noise. Doesn't get hot when not under load. SMART shows the real temperature, not low.

Cons

It refuses to work in AHCI mode with a motherboard based on the nForce 740 chipset. This is expressed in strange glitches: the volume is displayed incorrectly in the device manager and the breakdown program (gives out 2199 GB), the FS crashes, error messages appear. I had to install a separate controller, because. without AHCI, such a disk is not needed. A noticeable rumble of the spindle bearing (I got Made in Taiwan) - probably the flood affected. The hum is clearly noticeable when the computer is running against the background of four fans and another Samsung hard drive. It noticeably heats up under high and prolonged load, but the problem is solved by a cooler and a reobas.
