I bought this specifically for the CF slot so was unhappy when mine didn't fit in at all (4GB UDMA6 CF500X Delkin Devices). The reader had two small guides for the card's side channel, so I tried to file them. As soon as I put it in the reader it failed to recognize the card which I verified as working having used the camera myself previously and connected it to my computer. I've also tried SD and Micro SD cards; that does not work. I haven't spent much so I'm not that picky, just stating the facts ma'am. Perhaps it's a setback because the other reviews I've read seemed mostly happy with its performance.
