Works great - computers and accessories

Works great. I was very disappointed when Apple changed all the ports on new laptops and none of my current adapters worked. It connects directly to your laptop, allowing you to remove the memory card from your camera and insert it into your device, then quickly and securely transfer photos.

I can see all my photos again

Due to the many photos on my camera I was not able to download and view any of them. The card reader adapter solved this problem. This allows me to view photos on my camera in two ways: by connecting the camera to a memory card reader or by removing the memory card from my camera and inserting it into a memory card reader. Works great!

Excellent card reader for the money

I like the compactness of this item. It's small, but it seems significant. It has three connector areas to transfer information from a card reader, a smaller card (Simm?) and a USB cable to a computer. I couldn't find the last one I bought. I bought this item because of the good reviews from other buyers. I can't wait to start editing photos from my camera.

So far so good, best in Computers & Accessories

I connected it to my MacBook Pro and it recognized all 3 inputs straight away. I tested it with SD card, Micro SD card and iPhone via USB. All three were immediately available and recognized. I haven't uploaded a video or photo yet, so I can't report speed. I will update this review over time as needed or if I run into any issues in the future, but so far I'm very happy with the purchase.

Photos removed instead of transferred

I bought this to take photos of our family vacation with a digital camera and then transfer them to my phone. I had to format the SD reader for it to connect. Instead of being carried over, they were removed from the SD. They didn't transfer to my phone either. I don't know how it happened but thank goodness I checked and only lost a few instead of our entire holiday. I can't really recommend it.

Very useful adapter

I am very happy with this adapter. I just plugged it into my laptop and it worked. I was able to take photos of all my old cell phones that had been sitting in drawers for years. I was also able to use the USB port to get images from an old flash drive I've had for a number of years. I was very nervous about using this adapter, thinking it might be difficult, but I had no problem figuring out what to do with it.

Perfect adapter for card reader

I bought this item with hesitation. I'm trying to stick with Apple-certified adapters, but don't want to spend that much money on something I only use occasionally. I tried this adapter and it worked great. I don't know why I hesitated and I can't believe I wasted all that money trying to get adapters that weren't Apple certified. This adapter looks and works the same as the certified one. Reads my micro card and no problem, it always is. I'm glad I found this adapter so easy and cheap.

Very good adapter for computer accessories and peripherals

I give 5 stars for this excellent product as it is excellent value for money - durable, very functional. I bought it to easily and securely upload photos from Panasonic Lumix FZ80 camera to my smartphone and laptop. It serves this purpose perfectly. The C jack is quite long and I like it as the thick body makes it easy to connect to my phone. Both micro and macro SD cards work seamlessly with this adapter. The extra USB port is another benefit when it needs to be used. I highly recommend this…
