Review on Garmin Fēnix HR Gray Renewed by Jimmie Gebrehiwot

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Worth every penny. I would buy it again or will buy new versions in the future. Garmin really impressed me.

First class quality! I was already impressed with this watch based on all my thorough research and comparison of all the different fitness/smart/garmin watches. I didn't like Samsung or other watches because of the annoying battery life. I don't care about text notifications, music, or answering calls. That's what the phone is for! But from a fitness standpoint, this watch is phenomenal. The amount of data that the app gives me on my Samsung phone makes me think that I'm participating in a scientific experiment by connecting up to 100 sensors. Of course they're not 100% accurate and perfect, I know people say you have to wear an external chest strap or something, but I'm still amazed at how neat and useful this watch is. He even tells me my recovery time, gives me my notes, it's so easy to start and stop a run log, shows me a map. I am more than happy. Once I've exhausted the capabilities of this watch, or when the upgrade prices come down, I'll continue to use Garmin for things like this. I haven't run in ages and have never been a good runner but I ran 4.3 miles the first day I got it because I was so excited to see how far I could run and what all my stats would look like. As some people have mentioned, the altitude readings seem useless and I don't care, I'm in Florida so there isn't much altitude to measure. As for the refab, I couldn't even tell. He was in perfect condition. Based on all their crappy GPS devices with their old interfaces and how much better phones are at them, I always thought Garmin was leftover and outdated. This made me skeptical. But even after looking at pictures of the look and design of these watches, I knew they were on the right track in researching the products. Now I'm a fan. I hope they continue this with future product lines.
