Couldn't be happier!

I have been watching this quality watch for years. Literally. I finally pulled the trigger after Nike stopped releasing software updates for their watches. I am very happy that I bought this watch. It does more than I ever imagined and is more accurate than I imagined. I do a lot of stationary rowing, indoor treadmill training, treadmill running, and outdoor running. All measurements are very accurate. Even the recorded heart rate readings are accurate. The only thing that will ever be…

Tuff thing and functional!

Good condition. If I didn't know it was refurbished I would say it's brand new! - 13 days battery life - 6 cycles; 2 miles each with GPS; heart rate - 1 hour of swimming; 30 min - 2 yoga lessons - 4 strength classes; 30 minutes each - daily step and heart rate tracking - great build; Love the sapphire crystal - Garmin Connect app is easy to use - App store if you want to expand functionality is good too. This fixed the power on/off cycles. - One-time issue with connecting to GPS; I had to use…

The quality of the restored devices leaves a lot to be desired.

First off, the Fenix 3 is AMAZING technology. My uncomfortable assessment is solely based on the fact that the watch I received has slight scuffs on the outer ring. I am aware that this watch has been refurbished but understand that it is 'refurbished' both functionally and externally in like-new condition unless otherwise noted. It's hard to justify the imperfection of a $400 watch. In addition, the equipment is referred to as "standard". However, the packaging I received was significantly…

The Best Watch I've Ever Owned

The Best Watch I've Ever Owned. I tried the Fitbit to measure my movement but it wasn't waterproof and it was very small. I'm used to big watches that carry some weight. I wanted a smartwatch that was waterproof, measured heart rate, was durable and masculine. The Fenix 3HR has all that and more. This watch not only measures running, hiking, daily steps, but also has an altimeter, barometer, compass and everything else you can think of. That's tantamount to Fitbit on steroids in my opinion…

The best sports watch. no questions about it.

I bought this refurbished from Revain. It came with a white box that appeared to come straight from Garmin. The watch looks and feels brand new, can't tell if it has ever been used or worn. I don't care as it works great in every way. I wasn't expecting this watch to do so much and do my exercises so well, but my goodness, this watch exceeded my expectations except for a few minor things. What I like: Downloadable apps, fast scrolling, compatibility with other Garmin devices, namely the Edge…

  • Great price

Garmin is moving in the right direction, but it's just UNRELIABLE

I tend to prefer Casio watches, especially solar watches, but they don't have exactly the model that suits my current needs, so i tried this Garmin. Some of the features/apps are great and the watch face I uploaded looks great in bright sunlight. The battery life is very good, even when using GPS. But a few problems keep popping up. First, the altimeter needs to be adjusted constantly, such as daily and maybe even hourly. It's totally unreliable. Second, the bezel had to protrude above the…

Pros
  • Working GPS modules
Cons
  • There are nuances

First class quality! I was already impressed with this watch based on all my thorough research and comparison of all the different fitness/smart/garmin watches. I didn't like Samsung or other watches because of the annoying battery life. I don't care about text notifications, music, or answering calls. That's what the phone is for! But from a fitness standpoint, this watch is phenomenal. The amount of data that the app gives me on my Samsung phone makes me think that I'm participating in a…

Beautiful and durable watch for all occasions!

I've been using the Fenix 3 HR almost continuously for the past month and a half and before that I've been using the Fenix 2 for about a year. The watch software was very stable, unlike the Fenix 2 which plagued many people with issues in both the watch software and the PC update software. I usually use it for running, walking and hiking in crags lately. Although the watch has a sapphire case, I don't go climbing with it. This is an expensive watch and I will not risk damaging it. Battery life…
