UPDATE 6 MONTHS: Although I was very pleased at first, the black color doesn't last very long. The black option is just a black painted chrome tip and after about 6 months I had about 30% chrome left from weathering alone. I would recommend spending the money on a higher quality nozzle that will last a long time. Completely satisfied with the quality, appearance and installation of this exhaust nozzle. The black powder coat is good, and the 2.75" was perfect for my 2017 Sierra 1500. Slide it over the stock tube, mark where it should sit, and trim most of the excess stock tube. In the end I painted the exhaust black. as well as high temperature paint to clean everything. Much better than spending $100 on a famous brand tip and welding it on. It's easy enough to do in your driveway in about 15 minutes.
