Review on 🌬️ Aprilaire 4793 Humidifier Maintenance Kit with Water Panel Model No. 10 Replacement Filter - Designed for Aprilaire 550 and 558 Whole Home Humidifier Models by Kevin Woods

Aprilaire 550 hooked up to our oven, all installed in 1999. Humidifiers that this kit replaces are original. The humidifier gave us no problems, so this kit was purely preventative maintenance. Everything is easy to replace (if you need help there are many tutorial videos online). The only thing I noticed is that the tiny screen that goes into the magnet inlet is colored red as opposed to the black in the product photo. However, there are no problems with this. The good thing is that after installing this kit, you only need to replace the water plate every year. Aprilaire recommends replacing this kit approximately every five years.
