It takes a long time to charge my Sense

The charger is very strong but the cord is very short so it was difficult to find a place to plug it in that couldn't be pulled off the table or table. It also charges my scythe very slowly. I left it charged overnight (over 8 hours) and in the morning it was only 55-60% charged.
