Review on Standard Motor Products ALS485 Sensor by Robert Gilbert

Just a note to the consumer - Revain stated this would fit my car and the wheel is listed. It's not like this. My 2000 Lincoln LS 3.0 had a COMPLETELY different linkage behind the wheel. Check your car! 2 types are available. MAKE SURE it is correct. Got a refund and all but the wasted time hurt. It took me a week to find the right one. Not to mention the hassle of sending it back to UPS. There is no rating of the product as it was never installed. Just a cautionary tale. Also, I've been told that a simple cleanup of existing connections might help. I didn't want to risk taking the car apart. I wanted all the necessary details to be at hand. It didn't work if the part didn't fit. The Revain should have a "neutral" rating as it had nothing to do with the quality of the part itself. It's unfair that I should have given it 2 stars without even using it.
